The lowland heaths of Surrey
are renown as prime areas to spot dragonflies. Thursley
Heath in particular has long been a destination for the
enthusiast, the close proximity of the River Wey adding
to the species count.
The
county also host the Brilliant Emerald, the high concentration of native
woodland a determining factor.
