The Triplets of Bramshill

One of the larger (33mm) blue damselflies. Seen in most habitats including ponds, streams and larger water bodies where they are often found in swarms alongside the Variable Damselfly.

Males and females are often seen in large numbers over water and among grasses, bushes and other foliage within their habitat. Females oviposit in tandem with the male, often sharing the same log or other submerged detritus.
